Colorblock me!

It’s a rainy day today, so i figured why not play with color to brighten the mood!

Colorblocking is a very attention demanding style. It must be worn proud, as this is a definite loud trend. I played with a few colors below to create a few cute colorblocking outfits. A great plus in having a fashion blog is that even when it’s too cold outside to wear cute dresses, I can still create and share them with you!

My favorite outfit has to be the one with the royal blue dress. The style is very vintage and I’m a huge fan of that. Which is your favorite out of the three below?!

Dresses to wear to a wedding

Ever been invited to a wedding but been unsure what to wear…

Then you have come to the right place! This list includes dresses adequate for a wedding in any season. Styles vary from short, long, halter, strapless and an array of colors. Feel free to let me know which you like best, or what style you prefer wearing to weddings in the comments below.

1. Purple is the color of royalty. This dress is a nice choice if you prefer going short. A classy single-shoulder flutter top and ruched look make it truly fashionable.

8. Neutral in navy. This classic-chic cut and style is perfect when you are in the search for a timeless piece which can be worn again to other events. This dress combines  sophisticated style, with a body-hugging fit.

More Lauren Ralph Lauren…

9. Teal elegance. The pretty color in itself make this a great dress for a wedding. Perfect for a spring or summer dress. The cut and length make it a flattering fit for all bodies, and the crystal and sequin embellishment give it a hint of elegance. Perfectly paired with silver heels.

Floral inspiration outfit

Floral prints make a beautiful addition to any wardrobe…

Pink and blue floral dress available @ Target

Besides the fact that floral prints are a perfect harmony between color and feminine style, they can also easily be matched with neutral colors to create an outfit suitable for any occasion. Flowers are a symbol of beauty and elegance, so it’s pretty explanatory why floral print makes a lovely choice. Floral dresses are a nice option, especially around warm weather. Though not all floral print fashion is bright, it still adds a feminine touch to any outfit. Black and white floral print dresses and tops look ultra chic and can easily be worn around winter time or when too much color is not your style. Shoes and purses in bright floral prints can also be the perfect accessory to contrast a neutral outfit.

Coach’s Poppy handbags are the perfect example of a feminine and floral purse. Cute around summertime and just the right amount of color to brighten a cold winter day. Coach also makes neutral colored handbags with floral accents, if that’s the style you prefer.

This Dolce & Gabbana pump has pleats and a silk floral pattern in neutral colors. It’s a great option when you want to balance a bright outfit, and add a feminine touch with these classic-shaped pumps. These heels will look stunning with a little black dress, and add to an already chic look with their feminine appeal.

Flutter-sleeve floral dress by Elle

These dresses are a nice option for a fancy dinner, or when you want a casual look. The Elle dress is comfortable enough for a relaxing summer day, but can easily be glammed up a bit by pairing it with a nice pair of boots or stilettos. My favorite’s gotta be the Jessica Simpson one because of it’s ultra feminine silhouette and sweet floral pattern. Which is yours?!

Spring dress and a gift for mom

Perfect weather for a pretty spring dress, this outfit is inspired by mothers day!
This ultra feminine outfit is made up of a nice spring dress and a few simple accessories. If you’re a mom, celebrate your special day by taking care of yourself. Get your hair done, do your makeup and doll yourself up in a lovely dress. It’s your family’s duty to spoil you with breakfast in bed, a yummy brunch, or a fancy dinner, but you should also pamper yourself with a nice new outfit!
If you’re celebrating mom, show her you care by giving her the best gift you can. Your time:) Take her for a pedicure, treat her out to breakfast or make a movie date. As long as you’re spending quality time with her, she’ll be more than glad.
