Daily Goodie Box Review- November

The November Daily Goodie Box came with all the items below, keep reading to learn a little more about each one below.

Prince of Peace ginger honey crystals

These crystals are a nice twist on a cup of tea. You combine the crystals with hot water and are ready to enjoy a sweet tea with a little spice kick from the ginger. I like that the crystals are individually packed, and you can alter the intensity of its flavor by adjusting the amount of water you use. Prince of Peace sure knows how to make ginger the main star in its’ products!

Napz- all natural sleep solution

I was a little hesitant on trying this when I opened my Daily Goodie Box, because I am not a fan of sleep aids, but after reading the ingredients and learning that the capsules were a drug-free combination of herbs I went ahead and tried them out. I don’t have problems sleeping, but there are nights where it takes me almost an hour to fall asleep. I tried one of these capsules 30 minutes before I hoped to sleep, and it did help me fall asleep in a nice and calm way. Slept through the night, and woke up feeling good- no groggy feeling.  Napz are a nice alternative to sleep-aid drugs, since they are natural, which means none of those nasty side effects of over-the-counter sleep aids; and are non-habit forming, so you don’t rely on them to sleep. Check them out!

Liquid Ice energy drink

The name and can itself are very appealing at first glance. Liquid Ice tastes pretty good, sweet and almost reminded me of an apple. In my opinion, it has a much better taste than other popular energy drinks. The special ingredient in this is CoQ-10 enzyme, which helps give a you a focused feeling. It gives you the energy it promises, but no over the top crazy/jittery feeling. Tasted good, nice amount of caffeine, all those feel-good vitamins and enzymes, and no crash. If you like energy drinks, try this one out- also works good as a mixer 😉

Fix-signature sriracha sauce

While it was not as spicy as compared to most sriracha sauces, this one has a pleasantly sweet garlic flavor. The sweetness reminded me of Vietnamese tuong den pho sauce, which I like very much. This would make an interesting marinade, and seems great for people who prefer a milder hot sauce. I would definitely try this again. I also really liked the sample packaging for on the go, much more convenient than a bottle.

Vive hangover prevention

Tried this prior to having a few drinks, and though the consistency of this was quite interesting ( think jello shots) no hangover the next day. It didn’t taste bad, but the jello-like texture made it hard to drink. All the vitamins and the fact you are drinking a tall glass of water prior to drinking definitely helps in preventing feeling sick the next day, so overall I think this is a pretty cool product.

Black Forest organic sour heads

Gummy candy has got to be one of my favorites. I really liked the fact these were sour on a nice level, not overbearing. All the flavors tasted good, the only bad thing is they are hard to share!

Desserts on us- Macadamia & milk chocolate cookie

One word to describe Laceys macadamia wafer would be: DECADENT. These were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The toffee combined with macadamia and chocolate, were a perfect blend. I shared one with my husband and he said “these are so bad, because you can’t just have one”. Let’s just say, i will definitely be ordering some of these 😉

Pure Cosmetics- Pure illumination light up lip gloss

This lip gloss is made with medical-grade lanolin, I immediately knew it would be extremely moisturizing; and gladly I was not disappointed.  The shade is a very subtle and shimmery pink. The formula is not at all sticky or heavy on your lips. On top of it, it had a handy mirror on the side and a LED-lit applicator!! These would make awesome gifts for Christmas, highly recommend it.

Mirabella- black magic marker eyeliner

Thanks to my Goodie Boxes, I discovered this awesome makeup brand- Mirabella. I love, love, love this eyeliner. The felt tip reminded me of Kat Von D’s liners, it applied even and was very easy to use. This is the type of eyeliner people who are new to makeup and pros can both easily use. It is a nice light black shade, and since it applies very easily, you can work more product to make it a darker and more intense black.

Loved all the products in this month’s Daily Goodie Box! Have you tried any of them?!

Revitalize with Vitalise powder

“Spring into action this year and hit the ground running”

This can be as simple as incorporating Pukka Vitalise into your morning routine. The press release says. “Great” I say, “Send me some now!.” If it’s as easy as swigging a few herbs, what’s the harm in trying…

I receive my packet of goodness at work, and eager to rev up my flailing energy levels – it’s bad when you get a 9-10am slump right? – I follow directions, mixing the powder with some water, and sit down at my desk. Suddenly I’m acutely embarrassed. Will my colleagues think I am to be revered for treating my body as a temple, or will they think I’m weird for drinking what looks suspiciously like pond water?!

A blend of 22 foods, all concentrated down to optimize the nutrition. This colorful blend of organic concentrated extracts from: 3 fruits, 4 vegetables, 6 herbs and spices, 3 seaweeds, 2 freshwater plants, 2 grass juices and flower plants, contains the equivalent antioxidant level of three servings of fruits and veggies. Aloe vera, beetroot, chlorella and wheat-grass, just to name a few of the ingredients which are found in Vitalise and are listed like an A-Z of all super foods.

It would probably be great with a juice, to allow the texture to blend in and create a quite a tasty drink. As it is, the pleasant licorice tang means it is more than palatable. At £1.30 a sachet I think it is a little pricey for me to make it part of my morning routine, and as I quite like fruits and veggies the idea that I could potentially replace some of these isn’t a lure. Having said that, I definitely didn’t feel as tired today, so maybe there is something in it.

If you’d like to give it a try, Vitalise Powder is available from the Nutri Centre nation wide and online at  Pukkaherbs.com. The cost is £1.30 per single serving sachet.
